Okay, this is just a placeholder for one of my goals… over the last few years, I have tried several Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG or MMORPG). As I play or think of them, review points come to mind with the typical blog thought: “I should post those somewhere”. Well, someday they will be here…
World of Warcraft (already blogged some on wowlol.net)
Pirates of the Burning Sea
EVE
Entropia
Age of Conan
Star Wars Galaxies

SWG is, like, the fifth Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) I have tried over the last few years. And, it keeps nagging at me to blog my findings somewhere… so let’s just do it!
So far, my impressions is that it is a very crude game, especially considering the 6+ years it has had to improve. Alot of MAJOR things that are common in a good MMOG are missing… such as a global chat which can be lurked while doing other things.
On the positive side, and largely why I have started playing it (despite the negative reviews it and Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) tend to get) is the player driven economy and that there are character professions one can play that have little to do with hack-and-slash treasure seeking. It has a very sophisticated crafting and buff system… *waaa!* maybe TOO sophisticated… so far, learning and using have been very difficult with required assistance of the small amount of info on the Internet.
Okay, hope to fill this in better later, just wanted to get something inputted.

doodlebug asked: I’ve gone to about 5 Target Stores, 3 Walmarts and 2 Toys R Us Stores looking for them and all stores were completely out of just the balls (which is what I’m looking for). Is it just because it’s Christmastime? Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find them? Thanks for your answers!

jooking7 asked: I am planning to get the ipod nano 8g and i had the ipod mini 4g before. I had the mini for 2yrs and someone i know thinks that that is a very short time for someone to have an ipod or mp3 player. I think that 2 yrs is pretty long for an ipod. How long is an ipod mini supposed to last when used daily and frequently?
is having the ipod for 2 yrs a long time?
