Does the Wii Fit board work on thick carpet?
grassauk asked:
You know how scales sometimes don’t work on carpet and it needs a hard surface .. Does the wii fit board have to be on a hard floor to work correctly or will it work just fine on carpet as well?

yes it comes with extenders to make the board higher up.
you should get a free wii from this site instead of buying retail
it works perfectly fine on carpets, it (the board) comes with extensions so that it can sense movement even through thick/heavy carpets.
i have a pretty thick carpet and my wii balance board works fine..if you are still unsure, i think they sett wii fit mats to put under the balance board
I got Wii Fit a few days ago and got online to ask the same question. I have found that with all the activities the board is very responsive and works great. However, carpet seems to throw off the scale. I have the thick carpet extensions on the board and it still reads me as being 9 pounds less that it says I am when I use it on the hard floor in the kitchen. (The reading it gave on the kitchen floor is the weight I usually get when I weigh myself on a scale.) I guess I’ll just have to add nine pounds every time I weigh myself on carpet, unless someone knows something I don’t and I’m just using it wrong.
