how do you choose cards in the game bakugan battle brawlers?

u just through down the car that u think will win the battles
each person must have an equal number of cards otherwise if u have 65 cards and ur friend has 24 cards the max number of cards that can b used is 24 u can have 1 ability card and an equal number of gate cards
u put down a card that gos with your strategy.one side has to be
touching another side completely, and u don’t shuffle. u have to
have 3 different types of cards.(character,command,normal and ability)
